John McCain can't seem to leave the jungles of Vietnam behind him. He wants to continue this war in Iraq to some how vindicate the U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Repeating those mistakes is not the answer to our foreign policy dilemma and must not be the agenda for America.

This ultra-wealthy man would have us believe he is a fighter for the 'every man' with rallying cries of socialism. 'Don't share my wealth' is what he is really saying. He should have thought more about these ideas before he decided to ride Bush's coatails through the mud. To quote the Michelin Man "It's time to retire."

I made a brief departure from my portraits because of the upcoming elections. Republican nominee Sarah Palin is cutting down government spending AND reducing our need for foreign oil all in one shot with her "Books for Heat" program. According to the library minutes in Wassilla, Alaska then Mayor Palin wanted many of the books banned such as "Harry Potter", "Catch-22", the dictionary (?) and many others including those highlighted in my piece.

Michael Brown

Michael Brown is a big fat liar!

He says: he was assistant city manager w. emergency services oversight division in oklahoma. In fact, he was really an intern, no one reported to him.

He was an outstanding political science professor at central state university when in fact he was a student there.

He had been director of an oklahoma christian home, in fact, no one there is familiar with him.

He was with the international arabian horse association, in fact, this has now been removed from his profile.

He had a wide range of legal practices, when in fact, his former boss, Stephen Jones, lead attorney on the McVeigh case, says he did not do litigation, mainly transactional work. He was subsequently let go.

Katherine Harris

It seems only fitting that I begin this series of portraits on the Bush Administration with one of the key people in putting him in office.

The daughter of the richest man in Florida, Katherine Harris proved her party's loyalty when she declared George W. Bush president in the 2000 election. Fraught with problems from the start, Florida's outdated voting laws gave Harris a wide berth in implementing her decision.

Harris is a native of Florida, and judging by her makeup application had apparently spent many evenings at the Ringling Brothers' winter quarters. She has been described "as an ambitious harpy caked in enough makeup to embarrass a drag queen".1 Up until the 2000 elections Harris was better known for her plastic surgery then her political awareness.

Some were outraged of her portrayal by Laura Dern in HBO's 'Recount', but reporters covering it at the time said they didn't go far enough. What she perceived as a keen political move backfired. Harris lost her 2006 bid for the U.S. Senate when many Republicans began to distance themselves from her.

Here's to you Katherine Harris. Even rats and skunks have backbones.

Hey, what about Me?

Everyone has an opinion and now with the Internet we get to bare witness to this cacophony, 24/7. By the way, I hate it when people use the term 24/7, along with 'it's all good' which is usually referring to some amoral behavior and is anything but. I better get to my point before I start sounding like Grandpa Simpson.

So will this be any different? Probably not, but I am just too damn frustrated with the Bush Administration and how they are damaging our country to sit idle. As long as I'm sitting I can bitch too! Multi-task ahoy!
